Quality Specialist – New Equipment and Change Management

Job Description

SUMMARY:

The new equipment and change management CQV process owner will play a pivotal role in helping to support MRP-Plattsburgh on their "Zero Loss" journey. This role will help develop and deploy a thorough validation process for both new equipment and process changes alike. As MRP continues to grow, our team needs valuable team members who can help ensure manufacturability as well as quality in everything we do. This individual will be a leader and mentor for quality understanding, improvements, and sustainability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage portfolio of equipment configurations and validation procedures
  • Coordinate machine commissioning, qualification, and verification plans:
  • Execution roles and responsibilities
  • Data Management
  • Outward communication
  • Collect and summarize required data
  • Collaborate to continually improve CQV process
  • Provide objective performance and quality information to organization
  • Continue to document and enhance process capability

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Background in quality processes, procedures, and documentation
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including, but not limited to, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple data systems
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
  • Ability to perform in team environment
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined

PREFERRED:

  • Familiarity with equipment/process verification procedures
  • Manufacturing equipment experience/operations background
  • Statistical analysis experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years experience in quality organization
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Combination experience and education will be considered
